Argilla is Exploration and Research
Argilla is Improvisation
Argilla is Sound, Movement and Space
Argilla is Connection
What are the boundaries of improvisation? How does improvisational dance function? How does it intertwine with music? Can musicians improvise to the guidance of dancers? How do these two disciplines collaborate?
The ARGILLA ENSEMBLE wants to push the boundaries of artistic expression and explore the dynamic interplay between dance and music. This unique project seeks to break traditional molds and redefine the way audiences perceive the relationship between the two disciplines. Through a deep research work the ensemble wants to create a own idiom to blend music and dance improvisation into one.
